Priscilla Pechmann - Assistant Manager

Priscilla Pechmann developed her passion for health and fitness by understanding the importance of staying fit to be a firefighter and take care of a growing family. After the birth of her second child, her passion for health and fitness developed into a love of triathlon and led to her obtaining certification as a personal trainer. She now wishes to share that passion and knowledge by training firefighters to prepare for physical agility testing (CPAT), recruit training, work hardening after injury, and over health and wellness.

Priscilla is a certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. She is a Personal Trainer for Heatlhtrax of North Haven as part of the Physician Referred Exercise Program (PREP) where she works with clients with special medical needs. She is also a Personal Trainer for Core Fitness. Priscilla also completed the TRX Suspension Training Course through Fitness Anywhere.  Priscilla is also a certified Peer Fitness Trainer through International Association of Fire Fighters/International Association of Fire Chiefs/American Council on Exercise.

Priscilla is a member of the Shoreline Sharks Multi-sport Team. She has completed the New York City Marathon, Timberman Half Ironman Triathlon and numerous shorter distance triathlons and road races. In 2007 she received the Team’s Bull Shark Award for Best Female Athlete in her age group and in 2006, the Presidents Award for Dedication to Team and Sport.

Priscilla is a certified Connecticut State Fire Service Instructor I and II and an Emergency Medical Technician. She currently teaches entry-level firefighters at Wolcott State Fire School and is a firefighter for the Town of Cheshire.

When she is not fighting fires, completing triathlons, or working out, Priscilla spends time with her firefighter husband and two children.
