Cheryl Heller
Cheryl Heller began her journey in becoming a personal trainer after years at a corporate desk job. After the birth of her daughter, she realized how unhealthy she had become and decided to change her life. While in school for personal training, she lost 80 pounds and is now passionate in helping others live a healthier lifestyle with exercise.
Cheryl is a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is a graduate of Branford Hall Career Institute in Personal Training. She has also completed the TRX suspension trainer group exercise course and loves using the TRX regularly within her own workouts.
Cheryl is also a trainer for Healthtrax of North Haven as part of the Physicians Referred Exercise Program (PREP) where she works with clients with special needs, as well as a coach for their Greatest Loser competition.
Cheryl ran her first 5k in April (thanks to the awesome coach, Clay) and looks forward to the challenge of the ones to come. Knee issues and all!
“Forget excuses, no matter what your physical limitations are, there are all kinds of ways to get fit.”
